Hannah’s work as a choreographer aims to engage, include and inspire audiences. Drawing on her experience and interest in collaborating across different art forms, she creates work both for theatres, as well as outside, in places and spaces where you might not expect to find dance.
She is particularly interested in making work collaboratively with young performers and in giving status and power to those young people on stage.
Hannah is passionate about dance as a way of communicating the things that cannot be said. In revealing something about people, relationships and the society we live in. Challenging the expectations of an audience, she explores relationships between bodies, objects and space.
